Po Valley

This tour combinations the interesting Arts cites of Ferrara, Ravenna, Padua and the natural beauty of the Po Valley.

Day 1:

Arrival in Italy – overnight in Trentino area. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2:

After breakfast  we head south to Ferrara, city situated in the heart of the Pianura Emiliana. Meet our local guide for a walking tour of the city’s highlights included the historical centre which is Listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. After the visit of Ferrara we will proceed to the Adriatic coast for the overnight accommodation and Dinner in hotel.

Day 3:

We will visit Ravenna, famous for it’s big heritage of early Christian and Byzantine mosaics. 1600 years of History are reflected in it’s monuments such as the churches of  S.Vitale and S. Appolinare in Classe. Late afternoon we return to the hotel dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4:

We will see nature as her best. After breakfast  we will travel to the Po Valley where we will trek through the Mesola forest to see its flora, fauna and wildlife. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 5:

Before leaving the north side of the Adriatic Coast we have two cities in the Veneto Region to explore. Chioggia, called the little Venice, and Padua the home of the preserved 14th century masterpiece the Scrovegni Chapel painted by Giotto.

Day 6:

Tours ends after breakfast.
